Chevrolet Vehicle Fleet to Help Wreaths Across America Honor U.S. Veterans this Holiday Season

This holiday season, Chevrolet and its local Philadelphia dealers are honored to continue their partnership with Wreaths Across America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to remembering, honoring, and teaching about the military heroes who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. This meaningful collaboration reflects Chevrolet’s commitment to giving back to communities and supporting those who have selflessly served our country.
In 2023, Chevrolet’s support for Wreaths Across America takes on special significance as a fleet of 12 Chevrolet vehicles, including several wrapped Suburbans and a Military Tribute Silverado EV, will lead the annual journey from Maine to Arlington National Cemetery. This marks the 10th consecutive year of Chevrolet’s involvement in this inspiring event, which culminates in the placement of more than 250,000 veterans’ wreaths on headstones at Arlington National Cemetery.
Local Contributions in Philadelphia
On Saturday, December 14, Wreaths Across America will visit the Philadelphia National Cemetery to honor and remember the sacrifices of our nation’s fallen heroes. As part of this heartfelt tradition, local Philadelphia Chevrolet dealers have generously contributed 1,800 wreaths to support the cause. This act of giving highlights the deep connection between Chevrolet, its dealers, and the communities they serve.
Dan Adamcheck, Regional Director of Sales, Service, and Marketing for Chevrolet, expressed the company’s gratitude and pride in participating: “Chevrolet and its dealers are humbled to continue to play a part in the important yearlong mission of Wreaths Across America. This annual tradition, now in its 10th year for Chevrolet and its dealers in the Northeast Region, is something we all look forward to participating in each year. To be able to give back to our communities and the men and women who have given so much to our country is truly an honor for Chevrolet and its employees.

A Legacy of Remembrance
The Wreaths Across America tradition began in 1992 when Morrill Worcester, a Maine businessman, was inspired by a childhood visit to Arlington National Cemetery. Moved by the cemetery’s significance, Worcester and a small group of volunteers began placing wreaths on the graves of veterans. Since then, this initiative has grown exponentially, with over 2.5 million sponsored wreaths expected to be placed at more than 3,600 locations nationwide in 2023.

Get Involved
Chevrolet and Wreaths Across America invite you to join this mission of remembrance and honor.
