Together, GM and Tesla provide you with more EV fast-charging outlets.

General Motors and Tesla Motors have agreed to increase the number of fast chargers that Chevy EV owners can access starting in the spring of 2024. This agreement will give owners of GM electric vehicles access to more than 12,000 Tesla Superchargers in the United States and Canada.

GM EV Owners Will Have Access To 12,000 Of Tesla's DC Fast Chargers In 2024
Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS) is on the path to becoming the industry standard in North America for charging as of 2024. Why? Because now GM electric vehicles are permitted to use Tesla's Supercharger network. Currently, GM cars are ready for the Combined Charging System (CCS) through adapters.
How Can Your Chevrolet Vehicle Gain Access To Tesla Fast Charging Stations?
In the USA, Tesla has more than 17,000 Supercharger stations. Nevertheless, there are allegedly 54,000 public charging stations in the nation. So you will have greater access than ever to an EV charging station.
In 2025 GM will start including NACS charging in its future electric vehicles. It will enable NACS charging stations to be used by GM EV owners. GM will also offer adapters so that owners of NACS-compliant vehicles, such as Teslas, can use the CCS charging stations that have already been installed.

Chevrolet Electric Vehicles Ready For Adapters
Which Chevrolet EVs can use the charging adapter to access Tesla fast charging stations? They are the following:
- The first-ever Equinox EV
- The first-ever all-electric Blazer EV
- The first-ever all-electric Silverado EV
- All-electric Bolt EUV
- All-electric Bolt EV
- 2024 E-Ray hybrid model
However, as stated, adapters won't be necessary for the 2025 Chevrolet EV models.
The Future Of GM EV Models
GM aspires to outperform all other electric vehicle manufacturers by 2025. The automaker plans to offer 30 all-electric vehicles under several brands, including Cadillac, Buick, GMC, and Chevrolet. Unannounced models of many further electric cars are now being developed for 2025. However, there is talk of a Corvette EV, and we can not wait to learn more about it. When we do, we'll inform you as well.
